Unsubmitted Survey Response Reporting

Beta Feature


Contacts may start a survey, then navigate away before they complete it. As long as the survey is still open, NPX will store these responses so that contacts can later come back to the survey to complete it. By default, NPX does not include survey responses in your reports until contacts submit them. However, with this beta feature, you can choose to add unsubmitted responses to chart data from the Display Settings tab.

Note that:
  • We recommend that you report only on responses your respondents have submitted. We encourage you not to think of this feature as a solution to response rates. We strongly recommend you instead understand why response rates are so low and address that root cause. For example, if your survey is very long then we recommend instead that you make it shorter.
  • We save the response only after the respondent clicks the Next button.
  • Alerts will not be triggered responses unless a respondent has submitted their response to you.

What we’re looking for: Apply if you have a compelling reason to report on responses that have not been submitted by your respondents.
